Dr. Martin Grypma is an orthopaedic surgeon who practiced in Lethbridge, Alberta for 16 years after completing medical school at the University of Western Ontario (1985) and a surgical residency at the University of Calgary (1990). He also served as Chief of Surgery at Lethbridge Regional Hospital as well as President of the Chinook Physician's Association before moving with his family to Langley BC in 2007 to support the professional goals of family members. Since then, in addition to working as a trauma surgeon at Abbotsford Regional and Peace Arch Hospitals, Dr. Grypma has gained extensive experience as an orthopaedic consultant in the Lower Mainland and Alberta. An accomplished trumpetist, pianist and pilot, Dr. Grypma is also a certified aviation medical examiner. Responding to requests to help meet the demand for clinical orthopaedics in the Lower Mainland and to reduce waiting lists, Dr. Grypma is now accepting referrals for patients with orthopaedic issues.
